Diabetes Week is nearly over, and we are rounding things off with the last couple of pupdates and testimonials from a handful of our amazing teams.
First, a lovely morning out with Team Indie.
"We went along to the Headcorn FC Lancasters football match with Tunbridge wells on Sat! Indie as usual was such a good boy and Evan scored a goal too! It was a lovely morning, blood sugars were all in range thankfully Weather was perfect and we were all able to enjoy the match knowing that Indie was on duty
We can never underestimate the independence Indie has brought into all our lives as well as keeping Evan safe he has given ever single member of our family so much joy"
A goal scored, sugars in range and a whole family able to relax and enjoy the day. That is what a Hypo Hound brings, not just safety, but freedom and joy for everyone.
We want more children to benefit from a diabetic alert assistance dog, and to do that we urgently need your help.
Please consider supporting us in any way you can.
You can donate to our appeal here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/hypo-hounds-registered-charity-3
Or perhaps you could give your time instead. We are always glad of volunteers, whether that means organising a talk in your local community or becoming a community champion who attends events and helps raise our profile, as well as the urgent funds we need.
