This Diabetes Week has already been a busy one for all of us, and it got off to a lovely start in Hawkhurst.
Our brilliant corporate speaker Brigid and co-founder Sophie headed along to the Hawkhurst WI, with Hypo Hound in training Sulley joining them for the evening.
The ladies could not have been more welcoming. They bought merchandise, gave generously, and together raised an amazing £222.74 on the night. We were thrilled, and very grateful.
Sulley, we are pleased to report, was a perfect gentleman all evening.
A huge thank you to Hawkhurst WI for the invitation, and well done to our wonderful team. Evenings like this are how we spread the word in our communities, sharing what we do and how people can get involved to help us support more Type 1 Diabetic children.
