We are looking for someone very special.
Bolt has decided that life as an assistance dog is not the career for him, and that is absolutely fine. It just means we are now searching for the perfect loving home where he can be himself and be happy.
Could that be you?
Bolt is a big boy, neutered, and never happier than when he is out on a walk or curled up for a cuddle. He is loving and affectionate, with bags of character.
He does have a few needs we want to be upfront about. Bolt is not too sure about strangers, and that nervousness can lead him to bark at people he does not know. He would do best in a calm, active home with people who have dog experience, plenty of room to roam, and a comfy sofa to share.
For that reason, his new home would need to have no children under 16 and no cats. He could potentially live alongside another dog, having previously shared his home with an older spaniel, though we would arrange a meeting first to make sure everyone gets along.
