When team Poppy contacted us to tell us how Hypo Hound Poppy’s insistent alert saved Thomas from a diabetic coma – we knew it was a story we needed to share.
It was the perfect example of how amazing our Hypo Hounds are. Mum to Thomas, Jennifer Whiberley, kindly allowed us to interview her about the experience and send out a press release to the Essex media. Within 24 hours the story had gone global!
This is great awareness for the charity and we thank Jennifer and Thomas for letting us share their story. Thomas is much recovered now and all we need to say is – Poppy – keep up the great work!
