We are heading to the Kent County Show this summer, and we would love you to join us.
The show takes place over three days, on Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2026, at the Kent Showground in Detling, Maidstone (ME14 3JF). It is one of the biggest events in the county's calendar, with thousands of visitors coming through the gates across the weekend.
That footfall is exactly why the show matters so much to us.
Hypo Hounds is a charity, and events like this are a vital part of how we raise the funds to keep training our life-saving dogs. Every conversation we have at our stand helps spread the word about the work we do, and every donation goes towards giving a Type 1 Diabetic child more freedom and independence.
But we cannot do it without help on the ground.
We are looking for volunteers to give us some time over the three days. Whether you can spare a few hours or a full day, you would be making a real difference. No special experience is needed, just a friendly face and a willingness to chat to the public about our dogs.
